Sputnik 3 satellite

Sputnik 3 weighed 1.3 tonnes. Most of its scientific instruments were set into its upper part, with the two arm-like antennas transmitting data back to Earth. This engineering model is an almost exact twin of the satellite launched, and would have been used for ground tests before and during the mission.
