Between 1916 and 1921, Georges Heights at Mosman was home to the third largest military hospital in Australia. The Australian Auxiliary Hospital (also known as the Hospital on the Hill) provided care to soldiers injured on the Western Front during the Great War. Today, this this important heritage building serves as the headquarters of the Harbour Trust.
