In Yip Yan-chuen’s paintings, he not only recorded the scenic places he travelled to, but also the daily life he observed. In Staff Quarters on Lung Cheung Road, Yip abandoned linear perspective and puttogether silhouette of the Lion Rock, buildings, and people into a pleasant landscape.
