Stamp Gallery

The Stamp Gallery is done with the point of view to display the stamps from its very origin, how it changed over the time period, change in its usage, from clay stamps, evolution of airmail, postal stamps, and the postal system.

The display is done chronologically, as well as thematically, special issues, first day covers, stamps papers, and then the stamp money, Hundi, process of stamp making etc. The main objective of establishing this gallery was to display one more medium and method of transferring and making payments, the transition from coinage to currency notes, as an intermediately objects.
