Interrogations of the surviving crew members of the Trinidad of Magellan's armada on the events that occurred on its return journey from the Maluku Islands. It consists of two different document blocks:

Statements taken by [Gonzalo Maldonado], bishop of Ciudad Rodrigo, from captain Gonzalo Gómez de Espinosa, sailor Ginés de Mafra, and navigator León Pancado (also known as Pancaldo), on the seizure of the Trinidad and its cargo by the Portuguese in the Maluku Islands (Valladolid, August 2, 1527). The Council of the Indies had entrusted its advisor, the bishop of Ciudad Rodrigo, to take testimony from those sailors in a meeting which took place in Valladolid on August 2, 1527. The order of the Council with confirmations of the advisers and signature of the secretary (Juan de Sámano) head the document. The same day, the aforementioned bishop made the witnesses, who were read the order of the Council of the Indies, swear an oath, and they proceeded to answer the questions raised (sheet 1 recto–sheet 8 recto).

In the second block are the responses to 19 questions from Gonzalo Gómez de Espinosa and Ginés de Mafra (Valladolid, May 15, 1527), León Pancado (Valladolid, July 1, 1527), and Juan Rodríguez (not dated), witnesses presented by Cristóbal de Haro on the events that occurred to the Trinidad and to the same during its captivity in the Portuguese territories (sheet 11 recto–24 vuelto).
