Cutting: The wood is cut to about 80 cm and about every 26 kg is bundled. Steaming: A platform made from straw called hekubi is placed over the steaming pot. The bundles of paper mulberry wood are then place on top of the straw platform. The whole thing is then covered with a barrel and steamed for about 2-3 hours.
