King Yeongjo’s handwriting was engraved into this stone tablet. The preface was written by King Yeongjo in which he revealed his intention to edit, print, and publish the calligraphy and writings of past kings. The full text was compiled in Changdeok 6718 and the first part of Changdeok 6708.
