The stove used by explorer Ernest Shackleton, as seen by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on November 11, 2016, while he visited the hut in Cape Royds, Antarctica, where Shackleton and 14 other men lived in 1908, as the Secretary conducted a helicopter tour of U.S. research facilities around Ross Island and the Ross Sea, and visited the McMurdo Station in an effort to learn about the effects of climate change on the Continent.
