In Orbiter Processing Facility-3 at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, STS-130 Pilot Terry Virts Jr., left, and Commander George Zamka inspect the thermal protection system beneath space shuttle Endeavour as Mission Specialist Kathryn "Kay" Hire does the same in the background.

The crew is at Kennedy for a crew equipment interface test, or CEIT, which provides hands-on training and observation of shuttle and flight hardware. The STS-130 flight will carry the Tranquility pressurized module with a built-in cupola to the International Space Station aboard Endeavour. Launch is targeted for Feb. 4, 2010.
