Suffrage is not Representation

This work is mixed media made with acrylic paint, and paint marker. The work is a play on the beloved children’s show Schoolhouse Rock’s suffering for suffrage video to call on women to continue to keep protesting, voting, and being civilly engaged as those actions can allow women’s voices to be heard
