I am Vincent Lagadrillière, composer and sound designer and manager of Superpose Studio. I've had a rather diversified career: from current music scenes to advertising, from art centers to events.
I always wanted to create a sound design and creation studio that was flexible and adventurous enough. The idea was to be free enough to work with different domains, to be guided by audacity and desire. My studio was created when I arrived in Australia and since then it hasn't left me between North America where I lived and my return to Paris.
A few years ago, I was looking for a studio to work in and I met MILA during the MAMA festival where the association was holding an information stand. The discussion quickly started and I quickly had the chance to be a resident of the place. The MILA is like a happy nebula and if you take the trouble to go towards the others you realize that there is a lot of beautiful energy. I met a lot of nice people and the fact that we meet regularly gives us the opportunity to get to know each other, to collaborate...
I think the MILA is a unique place in Paris. There is a concentration of talent and energy in a very small area. So my advice is to go there with your eyes closed, to take the trouble to socialize, to get information, not to be shy. We also benefit from support, development aid and also reduced rents (which is not negligible)
You are all set!
