Swiss Home of Loel and Gloria Guinness, Vogue

The game room of the Villa Zanroc, the summer home belonging to Loel and Gloria Guinness. Located in Epalinges, a suburb of Lausanne, Switzerland, it sits on a high plateau and overlooks the Lac Leman, with a view of the Alps. The house was designed by Swiss architect Jack Cornaz. The room features specially glazed oak bowling lanes, complete with electronic pin-setting, scoring, and ball-returning devices. The room is furnished with Queen Anne chairs and low modern benches, all covered in faux tiger skin. In the far corner are two tables covered with blue tablecloths, and holding Venetian lanterns. The ceiling is soundproof and the walls are of rubbed pine.
