Royal Botanical Gardens (Canada)

Royal Botanical Gardens (Canada)
Burlington, Canada

The first ever lilac selection to have bicoloured flowers, Sensation was introduced in 1938 by Dirk Eveleens Maarse (1881-1975) in the Netherlands. Periodically, individual flowers will revert to being all white which adds extra surprise when observing individual florets within the overall flower.
