The frieze paintings depict groups of cherubs and rich plant motifs. In the decoration are remembered, on the shields held by the cherubs, both famous battles of the era of Charles Albert and Victor Emmanuel II, and Roman victories of the III and II century BC, suggesting a parallel between the greatness of the Roman Empire and the expansion of the Savoy State. On the long walls you can see large daisies that allude to King Umberto's consort, Queen Margherita.
