The drawing room of the Hacienda la Vega, the home belonging to the wealthy couple Reinaldo and Maria Guevara de Herrera (Mimi Herrera) in the valley of Caracas in Venezuela. On the right wall, in the center, hangs an eighteenth century portrait of "La Virgin de la Guia," the patron saint of Hacienda la Vega. It is flanked by two smaller Spanish portraits. Other antique paintings adorn the walls, many depicting saints. Spanish colonial furniture sits on Turkish carpets, in a room with tall windows and elegantly painted cornices. Each table is laden with fresh flowers.
