Sevilla, Spain

Mahogany and cedar table with an English-style drawer from the period of Queen Anne. The piece formed part of the bedroom of Rosario Díaz Velázquez, the middle sister, who was in charging of running and looking after the house and was never associated with the business. The furniture reflects her personal tastes: most of it was bought in the antiques market and shows a penchant for 18th-century English furniture.
