TAEKWONDO KUKKIWON DAY, Burnaby, Canada

The mayor of Burnaby proclaimed August 8th as TAEKWONDO KUKKIWON DAY. The city of Burnaby, after witnessing the demonstrations by the Kukkiwon Taekwondo Demonstration Team at the ‘Korean Heritage Day Festival’ held in Vancouver, Canada last year, empathized with Kukkiwon’s role in distributing the excellence of Taekwondo to the world. Thus, it has established TAEKWONDO KUKKIWON DAY.
