This takhat kept outside the baithak (a semi-private space at the entrance of a house, used to entertain guests) in Panchnota village, was used by the guests and passersby to sit. It was placed adjacent to a water pitcher storage, from where people could have a glass of water as soon as they arrived. The takhat was believed to be around fifty years old.
