Telegram concerning the arrest of the Suffragette Maud Arncliffe Sennett on 22 November 1910. The telegram reads 'To Sennett Pleasures Ldn Arrested quite safe fond love Maud'. This arrest took place during the 'Black Friday' fracas in Parliament Square, November 1910. On this occasion 115 women were arrested but released without trial the following day after the Home Secretary announced that 'no public advantage would be gained by proceeding with the prosecution'.
