Teni the Entertainer interacting with audience. Teniola Apata best known as Teni the Entertainer is a 26-year-old Nigerian afropop singer, songwriter and Entertainer. Before she started officially releasing her unique hybrid of afrobeat, pop and rap, Teni would post comedy videos and freestyles. Her unique interaction with her fans during live performances, outspokenness and relatability make Teni a new kind of pop star.

Founded in 2017, Homecoming is an annual festival of cultural exchange between Africa and the world. Held each Easter Weekend in Lagos, Nigeria, Homecoming puts a global spotlight on African talent – from its up and comers to its biggest stars in Music, Fashion, Art, and Culture. From the festival's live music performances to fashion pop-up spaces, sports tournaments, panel talks and creative workshops, Homecoming is here to invest in the next generation of African creatives – sharing a new cultural legacy with the world.

Homecoming Live is Nigeria’s most innovative live show bringing the best African and International artists to the stage, performing back-to-back in an explosive ‘live playlist’ format.

The 2019 Homecoming Show was held at Harbour Point and featured performances from:
Naira Marley, Odunsi The Engine, Santi, Poco Lee, Pretty Boy D-O, Simi, Skepta, Teni the Entertainer, Sho Madjozi, Runtown and exclusive first time performances by TEMS, REMA, Joeboy and Fireboy DML as well as special guests.
