Founded as an all-male military academy in 1876, Texas A&M University maintains a variety of rituals. The Texas A&M Corps of Cadets—a student-led leadership training program—are considered the "Keepers of the Spirit and Guardians of Tradition." Final Review, captured in this 1957 home movie, is one such tradition. To mark the end of the school year and honor graduating seniors among its ranks, the entire Corps (including mascot Reveille) participates in two passes before a reviewing party of dignitaries in this home movie from the Jimmy Mitchell Family Films.
