Central rectangle is an applique of embroidery on gauze with two Chinese poems on the left side and a rocky scene with bamboo trees and flowers at right within a red embroidered border. In four lines below the central scene is a Spanish translation of the two poems embroidered in black. A vine and flower garland embroidered in chenille and metallic thread forms the outer border.
