Thai silk and metal-thread brocade (phaa yok); bead embroidery.
The front pleat on the skirt of this formal dress are created with an attached strip of border fabric that suggests the pleated ends of the hip wrappers (phaa nung) worn by court ladies in the second half of 19th century.
