This two-volume biobibliographical dictionary published in Wrocław in 1755, titled “Lexicon derer itztlebenden Gelehrten in Polen”, is among J. D. Janocki’s most important writtings. In addition to biographical notes on contemporary Polish scholars and writers, the work contains several interesting facts about the situation at universities in Poland at the time.
