Clara Gola Dugnani Rogeri of Villanova (1853-1903), a noblewoman, widowed with no children at a young age, died at the age of fifty. She named the Ospedale Maggiore the universal heir, with the sole obligation of an annuity in favor of her mother, Irene Della Porta, and of her brother, the painter Emilio Gola, to whom she recommended not to forget about the staff.
