The Aquatic World of Tendaguru

The Tendaguru site revealed a variety of animal and plant species, also marine animals. Presumably, some shallow lagoons lay between the coastal plain and the open sea, sheltered by rocks. Seawater washed over the rocks, bringing ocean life into the lagoon.
