Miklós Barabás’ graphic output constitutes an extensive part of his oeuvre. he worked on paper in the most diverse genres all through his long life. During his Italian journey in 1834-35 he became th ebest Hunagrian aquarellist of his age by adopting the watercolour technique of contemporary English painters. The brushwork and colour scheme of his watercolours are relaxed, and he solved easily any artistic problem in landscapes and genre scenes alike. After his Italian tour the finest graphic sheets of his oeuvre were created until the mid-1840s.
