This lexical list, which compares cuneiform graphs in Sumerian and Akkadian, is also called the "Chicago syllabary." The list was probably first compiled in the second millennium BC, but this copy comes from the first millennium BC. This artifact provides insight into how Sumerian and Akkadian cuneiform signs were pronounced at this time, as well as how cuneiform was used in the first millennium BCE.
