The Deanery and Christchurch Cathedral, Canterbury, Kent

Herbert Felton's photograph records some of the damage inflicted by Luftwaffe bombs on buildings within Canterbury's Cathedral Precinct. Windows and roofs have been patched with temporary covers. Two barrage balloons can be seen in the sky over Christchurch Cathedral.
