The document from the period of German occupation, defining nationality of inhabitants in Polish lands annexed to the Third Reich.
"Fingerprints" – the first operation of national verification in areas annexed to the Third Reich, run from November 1939. The operation's name comes from the document used as an ID card, which used a fingerprint instead of a photograph and was received by all those verified. Among the requirements were declarations about national identification and language used at home. Document in German-Polish version.
