The Engine House, Fire Fly Avenue, Swindon

The Engine House is the name given to office occupied by heritage organisations Historic England and English Heritage. The building dates from the 1840s when it was built as the Great Western Railway's Chief Mechanical Engineer's and Drawing Office. It was extended in the 1870s and in 1903-8.
