The Era of the PCC

D.C. Transit 1304 at Seashore Trolley Museum

The general design of #1304 was the product of a committee of street railway presidents. In turn this design was adopted for most new streetcars built from 1930 through 1955 and in turn used in most American and Canadian cities. Such cars are well known as PCC cars.
