The Guardian

This figurative work in cast bronze was created in 1982 by artist Jack Greaves to commemorate the Toledo Police Patrolman's Association, and is located in the Civic Center Mall courtyard in Downtown Toledo. Greaves was born in England, but spent much of his career as a sculptor working in the United States and teaching at the Ohio State University in Columbus, OH, where a number of his other public commissions are located.
