The Hepworth Sculpture Prize

To celebrate the gallery’s 5th birthday year, The Hepworth Wakefield launched The Hepworth Prize for Sculpture. This new £30,000 biennial award celebrates significant contributions to the development of contemporary sculpture by British or UK-based artists at any stage in their career. The prize is named after Barbara Hepworth, who pioneered modern and contemporary sculptural practices during the mid-twentieth century and benefitted from prizes throughout her career.
