Stained-glass window V31 was commissioned in 1567 by the Fabbrica del Duomo to Corrado de Mochis from Cologne. The window was created based on cartoons by the painter Carlo Urbini and with a serious monumentality depicts the Holy Apostles, inserted in architectural niches, almost sculptural in their poses and portraying great solemnity. The individual figures are developed over two levels of panels, thus giving this suggested monumentality. The Saints appear respectively from the bottom: Pope Clement I, Saint Veronica, Saint Jerome, Saint John the Baptist, Saint Stephen, Saint Matthew the Apostle, Saint Jude the Apostle, Saint Bartholomew the Apostle, Saint James the Great, Saint James the Less, Saint Thomas the Apostle, Saint Philip the Apostle, Saint Simon the Zealot, Saint John the Apostle, Saint Barnabas, Saint Peter, and Saint Andrew the Apostle. The Coronation of the Virgin completes the window at the top.
