The main hall of the Museum für Naturkunde is the starting point on a journey that takes visitors back 150 Million years ago.The exhibition is based on one of the most significant palaeontological excavations at the Tendaguru Mountain (today Tanzania) between 1909 and 1913. The exhibition shows life on earth in the Upper Jurassic period on land, in the water and up in the air, and thus ebables visitors to witness diversity of a whole geological period.
