The key to the Gothic House in Puławy

The handle of the iron key is decorated with a three-leaf tracery motif. There is a gilded inscription on the spindle: ‘DVX FEMINA FACTI’, which means ‘A woman, the leader of a noble deed’, on the other side there is the date: ‘MCCMX’; and on the crossbar the inscription: ‘I • XCZARTORYSKA’.
