Franz von Jackowski was a painting strongly associated with the artistic milieu related to Karkonosze Mountains. He was friends with many painters dealing with mountain subjects. He painted mainly mountain landscapes, apart from them, he also created flower compositions. The presented painting characterizes the artist's work well: he used impressionistic stylistics and warm, sunny colors. The artist did not like sharp contrasts, he tried to harmoniously combine colors.
