Nicolas Sanchez, also known as AlfAlfA, is a Toronto-based Venezuelan artist with a strong background in mural painting. He studied at the School of Beaux Arts in Uruguay and furthered his education through international art residencies and commissions. Having painted in 25 countries across 3 continents over 4 years, he considers himself a draftsman, utilizing techniques inspired by vintage etchings and engravings. His artwork is distinguished by a focus on the perspectival effects of line thickness variations and a sense of humor through irony, reflecting on human nature.
