The room with likenesses of Polish kings was created in 1640-1643 during the reign of Władysław IV. 130 years later, the room was rebuilt at the behest of King Stanisław August. In this marble-covered room, portraits of kings and queens by Marcello Bacciarelli were placed above the cornice.
