Stained-glass window V40 of Milan Duomo is visible by observing the Cathedral's counter-façade, where it is found first on the left. It was made by Pietro Bagatti Vasecchi based on the cartoon by painter Mauro Conconi (1860). The window, in the Romantic style, depicts the martyrdom of Saint Thecla, who was subject to torture with lions: a figure dear to the Milanese Cathedral, the parish itself is named after her, she was a disciple of Saint Paul and the first woman to suffer martyrdom.
