The Mysterious Entrance of Kuélap

The image was taken early at dawn to enhance the contrast between the cobalt blue of the sky and the yellowish clay corrugated surface of the Kuélap (Peru) main entrance. The dark path in the middle is further defined by the darkness of the shadow as if to resemble the portal of a cathedral.
