Built in 1935-6, the Olympia Building underwent a full historic rehabilitation in 2015.

The Atlanta architectural firm of Ivey & Crook designed the Olympia building, both of whom were graduates of Georgia Tech. Beginning in 2014, the Olympia Building experienced a major restoration and renovation. Today, a two story convenience operates in the Olympia building and pays homage to the building's past as the "Wormser Hats" store with the special use of the scripting in the letter "S."

The Olympia Building is a designated City of Atlanta historic landmark and is located at the intersection of Edgewood Avenue, Decatur and Peachtree Streets. Historically, the Olympia Building has been "one of Atlanta's favorite meeting places, a place to "hang-out," gossip, grab a magazine and a "coke", or a ride home on a passing streetcar."
