Conference recorded in the auditorium of the Palace of Versailles, September 19, 2020, on the occasion of European Heritage Days.
While some authors highlight historical figures like Marie-Antoinette or Olympe de Gouges, others rewrite history with figures, real or fictitious, feminine, and sometimes feminist, around Versailles. Between narration, rewriting and rereading of history, the prism of gender questions the place given to women in comics. It is also an opportunity to question their place as authors in the universe of the 9th art.
With the participation of :
- Patricia Lyfoung, author of "La Rose Ecarlate"
- Isa Python, designer of “Mémoires de Marie-Antoinette”
- Sonia Déchamps, co-director of the Angoulême international comic books festival.
