Painting from the south, Epistle side of the ceiling in Eksjö old church demolished in 1887. The image’s main motif shows a Passover celebration (Exodus 12:1-14). To the left, in the background, a circumcision scene. The painting was made by Jürgen Kunkel in 1687 loosely based on an engraving by Matthäus Merian the Elder from 1630.
