Vignette with ribbon and foliage swag surround, depicting the farm homestead birthplace of Newton, with milking and agricultural implements; above centre, armillary sphere; below, two stanzas of poem: "Here Newton dawn'd, here lofty Wisdom woke ... The Sons of Science at this Dome must bend./All hail the Shrine! all hail the natal Day!..."
