The Pearl on the Sea

Born in Beijing in 1955. Graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1984, Gongpai went to France to study and investigate from 1995 to 1997. After returning to China, he created a "studio of material and performance art" for the Department of Oil Painting of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He is now Secretary-General of the Oil Painting Arts Committee of the Chinese Artists Association, Professor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts and director of the studio of material performance of the Department "Sea Pearl Sunshine Rock" was created by Zhang Yuan in Gulangyu, Xiamen, during his participation in the activity "A Century of Glory: Chinese Oil Painting and Gulangyu Island in China".
