The Poetry Panel with Efe Paul-Azino, Inua Ellams, Jumoke Verissimo, Dami Ajayi, Chijoke Amu Nnadi, Titilope Sonuga and Wana Udobang at Ake Arts & Book Festival 2015

The writing of poetry seems to be on the decline as fewer and fewer people have the patience to read and digest poetry. This was a rare opportunity for the audience to listen to these much-respected poets read their poems that best encapsulate: 1) Their definition of love 2) Their political conviction.
