The Promenade, Greensferry Road to Atlanta Student Boulevard

Originally commissioned for the 1996 Olympics as the AUC Connector, the Promenade serves as the main pedestrian thoroughfare connecting the Atlanta University Center institutions (Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Morehouse School of Medicine, Spelman College, Interdenominational Theological Center, and Morris Brown College). This brick pathway covers what once was Chesnut Street in Southwest Atlanta.
