The Recovery Corridor

The idea to create a magical garden was inspired by a visit to Greenfields in August 2019 during which Emma Talbot spoke to staff about the importance of outdoor space. Later she recalled,“I realised that the experience of being in a garden was something that could be brought inside”. Imaginary garden motifs such as birds, women in flight and rainbows in the ambitious painting suggest hope and freedom.
